According to Royal Decree 849/1993, of June 4
Sports accident coverage
- Medical-surgical and sanatorium assistance, without expense limits, and with a time limit of up to 18 months, from the date of the accident, exclusively in approved centers.
- Pharmaceutical assistance in hospital, with no limit on expenses, and with a time limit of 18 months from the date of the accident.
- Assistance in hospital, for the expenses of prosthesis and osteosynthesis material, in its entirety, and with a time limit of 18 months from the date of the accident.
- Expenses incurred for rehabilitation during the period of 18 months from the date of the accident.
- Medical-surgical, pharmaceutical and sanatorium assistance in accidents that occur abroad, up to a limit, for all concepts, of €6,015 and with a time limit of up to 18 months from the date of the accident.
- Expenses incurred by the acquisition of orthopedic material to cure a sports accident (not prevention) 70% of the retail price.
- Expenses incurred in odonto-stomatology, due to injuries in the mouth due to a Sports accident, up to €245.
- Expenses incurred for transportation from the place of the accident to the agreed hospital, only for definitive admission.
- Compensation for anatomical or functional loss as a result of the sports accident in accordance with the scale contained in the regulations, up to €12,025.
- Assistance in case of death, when it occurs as a result of an accident while practicing sports, for an amount of €6,015.
- Assistance for death, when it occurs as a result of an accident while practicing sports in children under 14 years of age, in the amount of €3,010.
- Assistance for death, when it occurs during sports practice, but without a direct cause of death, for an amount of €1,805.
- Medical-surgical assistance for non-traumatic accidental injuries (LANT) such as fibrillar or tendon rupture with a time limit of up to 365 days from the date of the sports accident.
- Expenses due to breakage of hearing aids and/or glasses caused by the sports accident.
- Compensation for orphanage as a result of the sports accident.
